The United Soybean Board and National Oilseed Processors Association have released a new Life Cycle Assessment of the U.S. soybean industry. The study found the soybean industry’s carbon footprint declined significantly from 2015-to-2021. That includes a 19 percent decline for U.S. soybeans, a six percent drop for soybean meal, a 22 percent decline for crude soybean oil and an eight percent change for refined soybean oil.
