The North American Meat Institute, which is the largest trade organization for U.S. meatpackers, has signed a memorandum of understanding with its counterparts in Mexico and Canada to improve trade. The groups agreed to work together to address foreign animal diseases, especially African Swine Fever. Reducing technical trade barriers and sustainability are also shared interests for the three trade groups.
