ADM Expands Traceable Soybean Pilot

ADM is shipping its first cargo of verified, fully-traceable soybeans from the United States to Europe. This is being done ahead of the EU’s implementation of its deforestation rules at the end of the year. The EU adopted these new regulations last year. This policy requires companies that import soybeans and six other commodities to guarantee they are not produced on land deforested after 2020. ADM plans to expand these capabilities to other North American locations this year.
