Statistically, farming and ranching is one of the most dangerous occupations in the country. NDSU Extension Farm and Ranch Safety Coordinator Angie Johnson says rural North Dakotans will have an opportunity to become more prepared in emergencies. “We were awarded $350,000 to conduct Stop the Bleed trainings across North Dakota.” These trainings will be open to anyone over the age of 13. If you are interested in scheduling a training in your community, contact your local NDSU Extension agent. Find the full schedule at www.ndsu.ag/stopthebleed.
