A record land sale has been reported in Pembina County in northeast North Dakota. Two quarters sold by auction with one sale just over $19,000 per planted acre and the other for nearly $18,700 per planted acre. The previous record was $12,600, which was set in 2022. The amount of available farmland in the area is very small. In addition to corn, soybeans and wheat, high value crops, like potatoes and sugarbeets, can be grown on this ground.
