Hallock, Minnesota farmer Kelly Erickson started his soybean harvest right after he finished small grains. “I was a little disappointed in the soybeans; I thought they looked way better than they yielded, but it must have been so dry that they didn’t develop when putting on pods.” Erickson said there were a lot of popcorn showers in the area this summer with rain seen in one section and not another.
