Oahe Grain Cooperation General Manager Tim Luken says harvest has come to an abrupt stop after less than two inches of snow fell. “It’s on top of the sunflower heads and in the corn stalks, so there hasn’t been a wheel turned since last Thursday.” Luken says off-farm storage will fill up quickly this year due to more corn acres and high anticipated yields.
