House Agriculture Committee Vice Chair Austin Scott is back in the race for speaker. Scott initially sought the job two weeks ago when Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan was elected as the speaker-designee. Scott is serving his seventh term in Congress representing Georgia’s Eighth District and chairs the commodities, risk management and credit subcommittee.
