The World Meat Congress was held last week in the Netherlands, where representatives from around the globe in the meat industry gathered. U.S. Meat Export Federation Vice President of Economic Analysis Erin Borror says it’s important to have all the top representatives in one place. Animal health and consumer standards are a top priority at the conference. “Things like greenhouse gas emissions, the need for science-based standards in animal health and setting standards for food safety is where our collaboration has the most value.”
