NDSU Extension Agronomist Clair Keene says the corn harvest is progressing well across the state. “In the southeast, harvest started earlier than normal and with how dry the corn already was, there’s an urgency to get things off.” Keene says it’s hard to say what yields will look like when combines finally stop rolling. “It’s very hit and miss. We just have areas that did really well despite how hot and dry we were this summer.”
