All eyes are on South American weather. Nutrien Ag Solutions Senior Science Fellow Eric Snodgrass says at least two inches of rain is needed before planting can begin. “The long-range forecast says they should have enough moisture to get it in the ground.” For the U.S. Snodgrass is worried about transportation on the Mississippi River. “It’s going to take a lot of water to fill those rivers back up and keep things moving for fall application.” Snodgrass was one of the featured speakers at the North Dakota Bankers Association Ag Credit Conference.
