More than 70 percent of farmers worldwide believe climate change has already had a large impact on their farm. Bayer commissioned this research by interviewing 800 farmers from the U.S., China, Brazil and five other countries. Seventy-three percent of these farmers experienced increased insect and disease pressure. Three-quarters of those surveyed are worried about climate change and the impact on their farms with farmers in Kenya and India having the most concern. Over half of the farmers said access to seeds and traits to cope with extreme weather would be beneficial
