The harvest has started for Shane Isane at Badger, Minnesota. “We finished our ryegrass harvest about a week and a half ago and the yields were less than half of what we expected.” The dry conditions are resulting in a similar scenario for the spring wheat. “We’re maybe looking at about a 40-bushel average which makes it tough to pay the bills.”
