USDA announced an additional $400 million in grants to support domestic fertilizer production capacity through the Fertilizer Product Expansion Program. The program will help applicants increase or expand manufacturing and processing of fertilizer and nutrient alternatives in the U.S. USDA previously allocated $500 million through FPEP, but has seen an increase in demand after the first two rounds of funding.
