Milk Production Report Updated

In the 24 major dairy states, milk production totaled 19 billion pounds in May. That’s up a fraction of one percent from one year ago. South Dakota milk production rose more than six percent with the addition of 12,000 head to the state dairy herd. Minnesota milk production increased 2.5 percent. California declined 1.4 percent.
