Mexico’s president has an agreement with tortilla manufacturers to only use non-biotech white corn. The United States and Canada are seeking a dispute settlement panel within the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Free Trade Agreement in a dispute over biotech corn. The United States exports $5 billion worth of yellow corn to Mexico each year and the latest announcement is not expected to impact that.
