Upset with a proposal to revamp the federal milk pricing system, Dairy Farmers of America has left the International Dairy Food Association. DFA, which is the largest dairy cooperative, said the IDFA policy is not in the best interests of its farmer/owners and the dairy industry. DFA confirmed its parting with IDFA to POLITICO. Other dairy processors have also reportedly dropped their membership with the International Dairy Foods Association, but that was not confirmed.
