Farm Rescue will soon complete its 1,000th assistance case. Farm Rescue volunteers will harvest the winter wheat for an Illinois family who’s farmstead was destroyed by a tornado. A special ceremony will be held Tuesday in Palestine, Illinois. Farm Rescue is a North Dakota-based nonprofit organization that provides services, such as planting and harvesting, to help farm families who experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster.
