The process for dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement will take time. National Corn Growers Association President Tom Haag is pleased to finally see some traction in response to Mexico’s ban on biotech corn. “This could take eight months to a year for all of this to develop,’ said the Eden Valley, Minnesota farmer. “I’m very confident that with our scientific data we’ll be just fine and we’ll show that Mexico has to accept them.”
