The pork processing plant in Windom, Minnesota has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. HyLife Foods announced its intention to sell the plant two weeks ago and has been working with the State of Minnesota to find a buyer. This facility processes 1.2 million hogs per year. The Minnesota plant is a subsidiary of a Manitoba company.
