Weather concerns are impacting the hard wheat markets. “I’m still watching the southwest corner of the winter wheat belt,” said Jim Bower, president, Bower Trading. “I think half of the hard red winter wheat has some kind of stress on it.” Bower says a little bit of rain can help rectify the dry situation within hours, but this spring weather has been rough. “March has just been a rugged month from the tornadoes in Indiana to the blizzards in the Upper Midwest.
