In conjunction with National Agriculture Day, 25 food and agriculture groups released the ‘Feeding the Economy’ report. The report shows the U.S. food and agriculture sector directly supports 23 million jobs and contribute $8.6 trillion to the national economy. The economic output increased in all 50 states over the past year. North Dakota had the second largest gains in agricultural output, up 26 percent.
