Ukraine is taking steps to boost exports out of its ports. The Ukrainian parliament has set up a $500 million insurance fund to offset potential damage to civilian ships entering these ports. Ukraine is also seeking a one year extension to the Black Sea Grain Initiative, allowing grain to be exported from three Ukrainian ports. That agreement is scheduled to expire March 18.
