Farmers Business Network Chief Economist Kevin McNew says there’s a lot of optimism around the corn market. “Between the U.S. dollar strength and transportation struggles, it’s been a struggle in the last year to see corn get exported to world buyers.” With transportation hick-ups that plagued 2022 leveling out and exports markets gaining interest, McNew says he’ll be looking for solid prices in 2023 corn. “The other thing is the struggles that Argentina is having with their growing season that could add more fuel to the fire.”
