The United Nations has named a new coordinator for the Black Sea Grain Initiative. A Kuwaiti vice admiral will manage grain shipments from Ukraine. A former World Food Program official has been in that role since August. This humanitarian grain lane was established by the UN, Turkey, Russia and Ukraine in July. More than 14 million tons of grain have been exported from Ukraine through this initiative.
