The Mosaic Company is reporting third quarter net income of $842 million. Profits were influenced by Hurricane Ian and a drop in sales volume. Mosaic said fertilizer application rates are trending toward normal levels this fall after a downturn in the spring. That is expected to reduce fertilizer supplies for the North American market.
