Fourteen major ag companies, including Cargill, ADM, JBS and COFCO, have announced a plan to deal with climate change. During the United Nations Climate Summit, the agribusiness firms said they plan to eliminate deforestation from their supply chains for soybeans, beef and palm oil by 2025. The plan also includes the establishment of targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
