Contract negotiations between the Pacific Maritime Association and 20,000 union dockworkers are continuing. The previous contract expired Friday, but both sides said they are committed to keep cargo moving during this time of supply chain headaches. Meanwhile, more than 150 trade groups, including ag groups, have asked the Biden administration to help find a resolution to the labor dispute. This contract covers workers at nearly 30 ports on the West Coast.
