The North Dakota Farmers Union is hosting a series of farm bill listening sessions. NDFU President Mark Watne says farmers are concerned about the dollars available for the baseline for the next farm bill. “They hope to have the baseline increase so we can enhance programs. We’d also like ad hoc disaster programs to become more permanent.” The farm bill listening sessions will continue through Wednesday. A full schedule can be found on the North Dakota Farmers Union website.
