The Senate Agriculture Committee was in Arkansas Friday for the second farm bill field hearing of the year. “We’re in unprecedented times,” said Ranking Member John Boozman. “The pandemic, the war in Europe, historic and widespread inflation and now, serious concerns about a recession; it just feels different.” As the new farm bill is considered, Boozman said Congress must consider the policies that work in tis kind of environment.
