Buxton, North Dakota famer Chris Hong says it’s tough to be patient in the delayed planting season. “We’ve had struggles this spring. Right before the last rain, we finished planting sugarbeets. We have about 2,000 acres of wheat left to plant and we’re planting edible beans.” Hong says there will be a few acres of prevent plant. “We’ll have a few quarters, maybe 400 acres. Other than that, we’ll try to get the additional acres planted. It will be later than normal, but we’ve been here before.” Hear more from Hong in the full interview.
