The Environmental Protection Agency has released its first-ever plan to protect endangered species from pesticides and provide certainty for farmers. The agency will prioritize its endangered species obligation for all pesticide ingredients with court-enforceable deadlines and new registrations of conventional products. The EPA also plans to improve its effort to identify and protect endangered species while engaging with industry stakeholders.
