Clean Fuels Alliance America CEO Donnell Rehagen says there’s big growth potential for renewable diesel. “We see an industry that is going to more than double in the next five to six years. It will go from a three billion to six billion gallon industry.” Partnerships between agriculture and fuel producers are increasing with renewable diesel production. At the same time, fuel and agriculture still differ on their stance of the Renewable Fuel Standard. “You’d think that would be something we’d have an easier time with, but at the same time, it’s important to realize these renewable fuel projects are a smaller portion of their portfolio. I think it will be great that we’ll have an opportunity to sit down with companies we may have been on opposite sides with and figure out common ground. There’s more common ground now then there was five to 10 years ago.”
