Minnesota exports of agricultural, mining, and manufactured products rebounded from 2020, with an increase of 17 percent to $24 billion in 2021. According to a report by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, not only did exports recover from the 2020 pandemic, but also surpassed 2019 levels. The North American markets drove Minnesota’s export growth with mineral fuel and oil seeing the largest export gains.
