USDA’s weekly Export Sales report for the week ending March 17 shows old crop corn export sales of 979,000 metric tons. That’s down 47 percent from the previous week and 29 percent less than the four-week average. New crop corn sales are reported at 6,000 tonnes. Old crop soybean sales of 412,000 tonnes are down 67 percent from the previous week and 70 percent less than the four-week average. New crop soybean sales were net cancelations of 13,000 tonnes. Net wheat export sales of 156,000 metric tons are seven percent more than the previous week but 51 percent less than the four-week average.
