The soybean market is holding firm as traders wait for South America’s production numbers. Total Farm Marketing Senior Market Advisor Naomi Blohm says there is a lot of uncertainty for traders. “I don’t know how much higher soybeans can go, but at the same time, if this crop is getting smaller in South America, Holy cow, this market has a long way to go.” The trade is looking at every forecast to determine crop conditions. “I don’t think they do a crop tour like we do here in the United States. Getting information out of South America is tricky at times and it will be a volatile market until we know more.”
