All segments of agriculture are feeling the effects of inflation due to the supply chain issues. Zaner Ag Hedge Chief Marketing Strategist and Senior Vice President Ted Seifried says this doesn’t necessarily mean corn and soybean prices will increase. “Inflation doesn’t mean we have to go higher because we’re already at some fairly high prices. Now, if we get into a situation where we do have to start price-rationing corn and soybeans based on a much smaller South American crop or whatever else, then inflation is going to allow us to go to higher prices than we really should.”
