After an unusually dry growing season in 2021, there is optimism for a different scenario this year. “We are hoping with the snow that it will help and maybe we’ll be getting some timely rains this season and build up that soil moisture profile again,” said Jeremy Richtsmeier, Hunter, North Dakota. “It will take a bit to do that, but it is looking like we are in the right weather pattern.
