Dry weather in Argentina is becoming a greater concern. Soybean and Corn Advisor President Michael Cordonnier says the forecast is troublesome. “The soil moisture stress is really building, especially north and east. This past week temperatures were really hot and dry. It was a troubling forecast for Argentina.” Argentina’s soybean planting window is closing. “If this next event is good and there’s widespread rain with good coverage, they’ll plant all of their soybeans and corn. If it is disappointing and dryness follows, I don’t think they’ll plant all of their intended acres.”
