The focus for the grain markets is starting to shift from supply to demand. “I think there’s enough of the crop harvested that the grain trade will assume additional adjustments in the crop will be minor,” said Arlan Suderman, economist, Stone X Group Chief Commodities. “There’s a good feel for the supply out there. Now, we’re watching the pick up in shipments to China. We’re losing ground on soybean shipments. We need to see demand or we could see cuts in future reports.”
