Rail movement between the Midwest and Pacific Northwest is shutdown as the National Transportation Safety Board investigates this past weekend’s Amtrak derailment. Trains are backed up on both sides of the Montana crash site. A NTSB official said they hope to complete the investigation as soon as possible so freight traffic can begin moving again.
