Near East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Matthew Krueger is mostly done with his soybean harvest. “The soybeans are coming out of the field better than we thought, but still below average. That’s a bummer, but like the wheat crop, it’s nice to see something in the field. The fields look green, like they’re not ready to harvest, but out there the soybeans are around 12 to 13 percent moisture.” Krueger says the lack of frost was good, because it allowed the soybeans to fill out completely.
