The Bremen, North Dakota area has suffered from severe drought conditions the entire growing season. “If you planted corn or soybeans on prevented plant ground, however, those crops look pretty good,” says Donny Allmaras, owner, Allmaras Ag. “If you didn’t, there’s a lot of very poor looking crops.” Allmaras adds that harvest yields have been better than expected thus far. As crops begin to mature, stresses from drought may appear as the crops dry down. Hear more from Allmaras in the latest Pioneer Agronomy Update on YouTube.
