The Kansas City Southern Railway board of directors has agreed to reconsider Canadian Pacific’s acquisition bid. The Surface Transportation Board rejected the Canadian National’s proposal for the use of a voting trust during the regulatory process, opening the door again for the CP. CP has given Kansas City Southern until September 12 to consider its offer.
