The Red River Farm Network Parade of Champions program celebrates 4-H and FFA across the region. Jake Doll is a 4-H member from North Dakota’s Steele County and is also a state 4-H ambassador. “I’ve had the opportunity to grow my leadership abilities; the people you meet, the connections made and the skills you learn develop you as a better person for life.” Doll was asked what lessons he’s learned through the 4-H program. “Perfection does not come easily, if at all. I’ve grown comfortable with the fact that you can’t always be where you want to be, but as long as you put your all into what you’re doing, you’re going to be able to grow.” This salute to our next generation is sponsored by the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, AgCountry Farm Credit Services, North Dakota Wheat Commission and Associated Milk Producers Incorporated and its Dinner Bell Creamery.
