Heading into fall, Pioneer field agronomist Larry Lunder says harvest management is important. Even on the better ground, there will still be drought stressed crops. “You need to be very timely with harvesting because corn will cannibalize the stalk to put what it can into the ear,” he says. “Soybeans can also be susceptible to losing pods or pods splitting open.” Lunder also discussed recommendations for harvesting sunflowers in this interview on YouTube.
