Bridger Mongeau is from the Barnesville/Moorhead, Minnesota area and shows pigs and horses. “I made a state fair trip with my horses and won grand champion market barrow, grand champion market gilt and overall supreme showman.” Ahead of the fair, Mongeau works with his pigs multiple times per day so the animals will perform at an optimal level in the show ring. With all the purple ribbons, Mongeau is most proud of the recognition for showmanship. “Showmanship is based on how well you show the hog to the judge and not just what your hog looks like.” In addition to showing pigs and horses, Mongeau is involved with a variety of community service projects with his club.
