Wheat fields are being cut in the Britton, South Dakota area. DuWayne Bosse is not expecting a big crop. “Yield reports are slightly better than expected. We’ll have some tough ground that will yield maybe 20- to-30 bushels per acre, but some of the best fields may yield 50 bushels per acre.” Early yields vary. “A smaller crop is there, no doubt, but we’re paying up for the smaller supplies.”
