This past Tuesday, the Pioneer Agronomy Update came from the Revolution Plot site at Mooreton, North Dakota. The southeast corner of North Dakota looks much different than the rest of the state. “We’re somewhere in that 90 percent of precipitation,” said J.J. Jaehnning, field agronomist, Pioneer. “Things look really good here, but you go a few miles north, south, east or west and things change pretty fast.” This plot site is evaluating planting dates, planting depth and corn roootworm. The Pioneer Revolution Plot Tour will be August 18 and 19. The report can be found on RRFN’s YouTube channel. This week’s Pioneer Agronomy Update will originate in the Crookston area on Wednesday.
