The June USDA Supply and Demand report did not have much for the grain trade. AgriSompo North America market analyst Sterling Smith says all eyes will be on the acreage numbers coming out on June 30. The crop progress and conditions will be monitored. “The latest U.S. Drought Monitor shows problems in Iowa and developing problems in central Nebraska and then, the existing dryness in the Dakotas and Minnesota all the way to Michigan. There are problems in southern Illinois with too much rain.”
